Are You a Negative Thinking Addict?

If you are a negative thinker it's likely that you believe there is some payoff for you to be one. Such a belief often keeps you stuck in a never ending pattern of suffering. So what is the payoff, if any?

Well in fact there is no real payoff because if you look at what the negative thinking does to you is it drains your energy, your motivation and enthusiasm for life, undermines your concentration, ability to stay focused, your performance and therefore your chances for success and so on. Essentially it is ruining your life!

man in the woodsDeep down, however one may secretly believe, for instance, that remaining distracted in negativity causes one to remain in a state of self pity. Self pity is supposedly a "self soothing" state that is comforting and nurturing. One is lulled into the belief that it is actually comforting and that it also allows one to avoid taking responsibility for the difficult task of being in charge of one's life. In other words it is thought of as a welcomed escape from life.

Well of course escaping from a challenging life should make one feel safe, secure, Ok, peaceful, contented, happy, joyful and so on. But is this what it really feels to be stuck (yes, stuck) in that negative thinking? Absolutely not!

As said above negative thinking literally steals one's life away from them i.e. it kills them.

The only real way, in my view, to breaking this addiction is to unearth those secret lies to the person who harbours them. When this is done there is often a spontaneous release from the negativity that is experienced which feels freeing and exhilarating.

Now if you'd like to learn how to make this feeling your permanent state so that you no longer need to feel like a victim/addict of negative thinking kindly visit the web site below where you can request a free introductory consultation that will change your life forever.
